About Us

Village Heat Share empowers communities to transform local clean energy into warm, welcoming homes and buildings.

We collaborate with residents, site owners, and community groups to host small, quiet data centres that recycle their heat into nearby houses and shared spaces. The result: lower energy bills, reduced carbon emissions, and more value kept within the community.

Our approach is transparent and collaborative. We co‑design solutions with local people and use straightforward, fair models so everyone understands ownership and how benefits are shared.

Village Heat Share is proudly funded by the Energy Redress Scheme. This programme channels voluntary payments from energy companies—arising from Ofgem’s enforcement and compliance activity—into charities that support energy consumers in vulnerable situations across England, Scotland, and Wales.
